Workspace is the single standard virtual place for employees internally, customers and partners exernally to go get information, find experts, work with other colleagues, attend emarketings, take a course or do daily operational activities.
Cimande Workspace Platform that is a workspace platform designed to faster development business application. (Hopefully in the future Cimande can be drive the development of a next generation business killer).
Cimande Web version is a framework to develop an enterprise level portal which is positioned to bring corporate to more transparent development. The Cimande Workspace Framework will be developed to bring a next level of collaboration between all stakeholder especially, 3 main stakeholder; customer (internal customer – employee--,external customer –customer--), business partner, and shareholder.
Cimande project will support 2 environment of development:
1. Web based Workspace (Cimande WX)
Web based Workspace is the Web version of Cimande Workspace Framework.
2. Standalone Workspace(Cimande DX)
Standalone Workspace is a non web version / stand alone version of Workspace framework.
Feature in Cimande Project:
1. User Management
User Management will become user repository such as First Name, Last Name, username, password, email that adopt the person in the organization design.
2. Role Management
Role is a collection of user that adopts the organization leveling at organization structure.
Role works smiliar with organization’s role in the company.The role will collect one or more module function. Based on site, role will become a workspace explorer.
Hiearchical Role Management (HRM) is an extended version of role management. This feature enables the group of role implementation. HRM enables a holding company and their subsidiary collaborate information from single repository.
3. Module
Module will adopt real company organization. Organization job description is needed to map the user’s module and user’s daily basis jobs.
Module Function is a collection of descriptor that is mapped in the hierachical format. Cimande Workspace Framework adopts the organization design.
This module function thread will be show in the Cimande Workspace Explorer both in the web version and stand alone version. Every non child thread will become a leaf in the Workspace Explorer.
